Troubleshooting

It can be frustrating when you just want to save a video but it won't work. Don't worry! Most of the time, it's a small issue that's easy to fix. Here is a quick guide to help you out.

1. Video not found / Invalid URL?

Most likely reason:

  • The video is Private or limited to Friends Only.
  • The link format is incorrect.

Quick Fix:

  • SnapTT respects user privacy, so we can only access Public videos. Check the video's privacy settings.
  • Re-copy the link using the "Share" button on TikTok to ensure it's correct.

2. Download button stuck or loading forever

Reason:

Usually, this is due to an unstable internet connection or an Ad-blocker interfering with the download script.

Quick Fix:

  • Simply refresh the page (F5) and try again.
  • If you have an Ad-blocker, try pausing it for a moment.

3. Why is there no sound?

The silent issue:

Sometimes TikTok removes audio from videos due to copyright strikes. If the original video on TikTok is silent, the downloaded file will also be silent.

4. Download is slow or stuck at 99%

Almost there!

If it hangs at the very end, our server simply might be overloaded for a second.

Fix:

Give it a minute, or check if your Wi-Fi switched to 4G. Retrying usually solves this instantly.

5. I downloaded it, but where is the file?

Lost the file?

It's usually in your device's default download folder.

  • PC/Android: Look in the "Downloads" folder.
  • iPhone (iOS): Use the "Files" app (blue folder icon) and check the "Downloads" tab.
